RidgefieldTalks Newsletter - September 2003
With gasoline prices down and interest rates holding steady, we are all hoping consumer confidence will be restored and the housing market will pick up once more.
The media has not given us a break these last few month talking about housing being over inflated and so the buyer’s comments more often than not is, “maybe I’ll wait.” However, to date the news seems more encouraging for the New Year.
Housing picked up in September and October compared to summer, but we do have over 300 homes on the market at the present time. Homes in good condition and priced right will always sell.
The market this year is just much more competitive so you want to be the best out there in your price range if you are looking to sell.
After many crises last year, numerous charities quickly popped up to prey on people’s big hearts and pocketbooks. Three groups put large, general interest charities under the microscope: ChairtyWatch.org, Give.org and CharityNavigator.org.
These watchdogs are non profits themselves and use different standards for their reviews, so it’s a good idea to check them all.
At this time of year especially, we want to thank all our past and present customers for their continued support. As always, we appreciate your referrals. From our home to yours, a safe and happy holiday season.
