Home: The American Dream
A cowardly means of criticizing our way of life was shown to us on September 11, 2001. It will forever leave an impression on everybody in our great nation.
Home is where you live whether you own it or not. A home is a symbol of achievement, a proud banner that displays the freedoms we enjoy as Americans.
A home is a place where we can both dream and realize our dreams. That is why so many of us who have longed for a home or our own, now have one.
Home for me means my family and the source for all of my love and emotional strength.
Homes in Ridgefield have continued to sell well. The quality of life here has continued to bring new families into our area.
We still have a shortage of resale homes and if the house is priced properly, it will sell quickly. We have had 17 months of historically low interest rates. The following shows the price points for homes here as they continue to rise.
Currently there are 107 homes for sale (not including condos). A month ago, we had only 89 homes for sale. Last July we had 154 homes for sale. As you can see, buyers have fewer choices causing them much frustration and disappointment. It does not mean that you can “name your price” as people still shop, but it does mean that with the lack of inventory, more people are getting higher prices as homes and this town, continue to be in big demand.
There are 22 homes for sale up to $500,000 with only one home under $300,000. Last summer we had 41.
There are 55 homes from $500,000 to $1,000,000 and last year at this time we had 86 properties for sale.
There are 38 homes from $1,000,000 on up and last year at this time we had 37 homes for sale in this range.
I would like to thank all of my past customers for their valued referrals, which helped me become the Top Producer for my agency again in 2001.
